My first blog starts with a big thank you to Andrew Hallam
from Digital Earth (www.digitalearth.com.au) based in Sydney.

Andrew is an excellent developer, geospatial consultant and friend who has been a great source of encouragement and support to me during the initial months after my move to independent consulting.

He helped choose Text Drive (www.textdrive.com) as the hosting company for my websites (www.spatialdbadvisor.com and www.wing-na-prayer-wine.com), pointed me to Domain Central (www.domaincentral.com.au) for registering my domain names and then had the good grace to set up the websites on Text Drive.

He has also set a blogging standard I hope to emulate!

So, thanks Andrew!
